The idea to bring a new sorority to Clarkson's campus was cultivated in the fall of 2010. Two of our sisters, Amanda Calton and Brianna Beltran, wanted to bring something unique to campus. As they are both Hispanic, they researched national Hispanic sororities and found that Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. had the values and the mission which they had been seeking. Shortly after, they began investigating what it would take to introduce a new sorority on campus and become a chapter of Kappa Delta Chi. They quickly built a group of interested students on campus through friends, word-of-mouth, and friends-of-friends. Our chapter's founding sisters are an eclectic and diverse group of women who embody the spirit of Kappa Delta Chi.
After hard work and dedication to Clarkson University, campus Greek organizations, and the intense chartering process with Nationals, the Chapter was recognized by Clarkson in 2013. In the summer of 2013, we became an official chapter of Kappa Delta Chi. We are now the proud Beta Beta chapter!
